Creating a Custom Export for use in the MetroList Rapattoni system

MLS export files that are uploaded to Spark must be in a specific format in order to provide both accurate data and all possible fields.

Follow the instructions below to complete the one-time setup for Spark in the MetroList Rapattoni MLS system.   Contact us here if you have problems with the file setup and we'll be glad to help.

Below are the instructions for the SFR/Condo export setup. Click here to switch over to the Multi-Family export instructions.

  • Click on 'Admin' and then on 'Custom Export Setup'.
  • Then click on 'Create Export'.
  • Enter 'Spark' in the 'Name' field.
  • Verify that 'Excel' is the 'File Format', 'Yes' is checked for 'Include Field Names' and 'No' is selected for 'Include Pictures'.
  • Click 'Save'.
  • Click on each of the following categories in the left window ('Available Residential Fields') individually and click 'Add' after each one. Once you are done, the categories will appear on the right side of the window ('Selected Fields'). The list is long but this is a one-time setup that you won't have to do again. *Note: If there are two of the same field move both of them over to the right.
